When you hire Prospector Plumbing and Heating, you deserve more than a temporary repair. You deserve a clear diagnosis, professional recommendations, quality workmanship, and confidence that the problem you hired us to address has been properly resolved.

We warranty our workmanship for one year from the date the work is completed. If an issue occurs because of the way our work was performed, we will return and make it right in accordance with the terms of our workmanship warranty.
Our warranty covers the labor and installation work completed by Prospector Plumbing and Heating. It does not cover unrelated system failures, normal wear and tear, customer-supplied materials, misuse, lack of maintenance, or problems caused by conditions outside the original scope of work.

Many of the products and equipment we install are also covered by a manufacturer’s warranty. When a covered equipment or component issue occurs, Prospector will help facilitate the applicable manufacturer warranty process.
Manufacturer warranties are provided and administered by the equipment manufacturer and may have separate registration, maintenance, labor, and coverage requirements. We will help our customers understand the process and provide the documentation reasonably needed to support a valid warranty claim.
Our commitment is simple: the plumbing or heating problem we were contracted to correct will be addressed properly.
Before performing work, our technicians strive to identify the underlying cause of the problem—not just the most visible symptom. We explain our findings, present available repair or replacement options, and recommend the solution we believe provides the best balance of reliability, comfort, performance, and long-term value.

Plumbing and heating systems are often interconnected. In some situations, correcting one problem may reveal a previously hidden condition, a separate system deficiency, or an additional repair that could not reasonably be identified before the original work began.
When this happens, it does not necessarily mean the original repair failed. It may mean the initial problem was masking another issue or that restoring one part of the system exposed a separate condition downstream.
If an additional condition is identified, we will explain what we found, how it affects the system, and what options are available before performing work outside the approved scope.
Our goal is to help customers make informed decisions. Depending on the condition of the system, we may provide multiple options, such as:
We will explain the advantages, limitations, and anticipated results of each option. The customer remains in control of which approved solution is selected.

Every Prospector customer can expect:
To us, “done right” means diagnosing carefully, communicating honestly, performing professional work, and standing behind what we install. That is the Prospector Promise.
